To the entire Guru community:

It's with a heavy heart that I must inform you that this site, Guild Wars Guru, will be shutting down on July 1st and will remain in Archive Mode. Over the past 11 years, we've become, and continued to remain, the #1 fansite for Guild Wars, and it's all because to you guys. Without such a strong and passionate community, Guru would have never made it this far and so we thank you for that.

And while we will be saying good-bye to our home here, we will continue to host forums for the GW community over at our sister site, Guild Wars 2 Guru. In fact, you are more than welcome to head on over now and begin posting. If you have any threads you'd like to transfer over, now would be the time.

So once again thank you, and especially those that contributed their time and knowledge to make Guru the amazing place it was. We'll see you over at Guild Wars 2 Guru!

And before any smart alecs blame my pc or connection they are both high spec, I think Anet may not have enough bandwidth or server space when lots of people are playing in these events.

Aeon_Xin Banned Join Date: Nov 2005 Profession: E/Me	Since the canthan new year, I notice a bit more lag over all, even when I'm in pre-searing(just rejoined the retarded masses tonite out of boredom). I don't have the best net connection, on DSL I can DL at 25k/sec or thereabouts, and same as OP, it's not my system(though lots of people here will assume so and write me/us off, or flamebait me...) It is in the wrong forum, without a suggestion to fix it.....though rest asured there are others that feel your pain.

I just have some slow downs sometimes due to high number of character models in the same spot. Nothing hard, just about 30 to 15fps reduction. Maybbe is a problem about the area you are in.
